Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of every kind and size since I was 10. From our own personal family puppies and adopted adult dogs, to neighbors shy rescue pitbulls, to friends precious fur babies, they all rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and spend time with their pets. I always have felt as though animals gravitate towards me and my calm, kind energy.

OKay . So Vanessa is gentle and considerate and takes very well care of dogs . She's like a kid with dogs . Playing with them and treating them like its her own . She has sat in our home while on vacation with our dogs , and has come over to feed them and walk them whenever we have asked. I would truly recommend her for this job
My dog Maple adores Vanessa and she is one of the few people I would trust taking care of my dog. You can tell by her interactions that she is an animal lover and I would recommend her to anyone needed help with pet care.
Vanessa is great! My dog loves her. She has a talent for that. Dogs love her instantly she knows how to communicate with them. My dog gets sad when she leaves. I truly believe that dogs see things in people beyond what we see in people, and if your dog instantly hates someone they usually pick up on bad energy from said person. Henry the Beagle loves Vanessa, which is saying a lot because he usually hates just about everyone. Vanessa addresses all of Henrys needs and is SUPER patient with him, as he requires TONS of patience due to beagles being absolute physco-paths. Henry pulls, sniffs, attempts to eat inedible objects, refuses to walk straight , lunges/ screams at other dogs, and is just straight up stubborn, and Vanessa is equipped to handle all of those scenarios. I trust her completely with my dog, which says a lot as I do not trust most friends and family members with him. She is honest, trustworthy, dependable, and genuine. Hire someone your dog likes, hire Vanessa.
Vanessa is the only person I trust with my dog; she is truly the best! Whenever my family and I go on vacation we always ask Vanessa to take care of Bella (and previously, Dakota). All of our dogs have instantly connected to her and trust her. As soon as she walks in the door, Bella lights up and runs off to greet her. I have also seen how she interacts with dogs she comes in contact to, at friends houses, etc. And I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t like her and vice versa - for her to meet a dog she doesn’t love! I can only say glowing things about her.

I live in a dog friendly garden apartment complex with plenty of sidewalks and grass to walk and play. There is also a wonderful park 5 minutes away for more exercise :) Dogs here are only walked on leashes to ensure safety. I also have my own entrance so dogs won't come in contact with other dogs if they are preferred not to. I can easily crate your dog if needed, or they are more than welcome to free roam the rest of my apartment.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I don't mind large breeds, but I prefer to work with large dogs that don't pull too strongly as they may overpower me because I am a small woman :) I have worked with reactive dogs as well, so I don't mind reactivity as long as they can't take me down!
A typical day
I love making sure dogs get enough exercise and mental stimulation. We can play with toys and smell all the new smells around my place. We can also go to a beautiful park nearby and get all the zoomies out of their systems.

Availability
I'm currently self employed and work mostly on the weekends! So I'll have plenty of time during the week to hang with your dogs. I am available Sundays after 3pm, and Mondays-Wednesdays.
