Hello, my name's Vanessa and I am very interested in providing care for your pup! I started dog sitting professionally in Jan 2020 and have had a great experience caring for/watching various dogs for many wonderful families. I currently have two dogs of my own - Mina & Archie. Mina and Archie are about 1. 5 years old Shihtzu mixes from the same litter. Both were adopted by my partner and I from a local rescue last year. At this time I'm available to provide a wide range of services and have experience with dogs ranging from 12 weeks old, up to 13 years old. I also have experience giving oral medication if needed. My typical care for dogs includes feeding, walking, playing, waste cleanup, etc. At this time, I do not offer overnight care, but am able to check in on your pet as often as you’d like during the day. Vanessa has been incredibly reliable for me over the past few years. When I first rescued my dog, he had terrible separation anxiety, so Vanessa would take care of him while I went to work on occasion. Whenever Vanessa was scheduled to watch Toby, she always took care of him and never cancelled last minute. Vanessa showed her true love and compassion for my dog when his cancer started to drain his energy and motivations. She would assist with his medications, cleaning him and showing him the love he deserved. I would definitely rely on Vanessa to care for any dog I may have in the future.
Vanessa is an outstanding dog sitter! She took care of Dax and Sadie on and off for 4 years. I could always count on her and was worry free knowing the dogs were in great hands. They got so excited every time she came over! Vanessa would take them for a walk around the neighborhood and some days to the park. Their food and water bowls were always full before she left and they would be tuckered out. I recommend her to anyone needing a caring, fun, and reliable dog sitter!

A typical day
Some fun activities I do with the dogs I watch is go for walks, play fetch, sun bathe, and every now and then learn a few new tricks. One of my favorite places to go with a furry friend is to the Mountains Edge Dog Park.

I am currently self employed and create my own schedule each week as a home/personal assistant and dog sitter. I do have a handful of families I work for at this time, but am always looking to add new pups to my schedule.
