My dog would love a friend
Pet care experience
Dog sitting and day care is a hobby for me since I do work full time, but I love having dogs and my dog Tootie is my best friend. I have all day to spend taking care of dogs and am fortunate enough to live in a neighborhood that is so dog friendly. Tootie loves having company over. I have a full time job with the FDNY as a first responder. During the day I love to go on long walks by the water. On the weekends a visit to the dog park is always fun! I highly suggest to have a meet and greet so as the owner you’ll be able to come see the apartment before booking and feel completely at ease, either in person or on video. Also, I also can do pick up and drop off anywhere in the 5 boroughs as I have a car so it can be more convenient for the client.

Vanessa and her sweet dog Tootie were the BEST! It was the first time I left my shy rescue dog with anyone but family and they made her feel so welcome and secure! Within a few days she was cuddling with Tootie and she came back so happy and well adjusted. Vanessa sent reassuring updates and was just so lovely all around. Dream dog care ??
Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! She took very good care of my Mojo and also sent me daily messages along with pics or short videos. It really helped me have a good vacation knowing he was in very good hands.

Pets are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. Tootie sleeps with us every night. We don’t leave anything out that the dogs can possible get in to. There is always a pad on the floor in case someone has to go. Lots of toys for the dogs to play with.

A typical day
There is a giant field near my house and sometimes will even drive to the dog park to get more active on the weekends. Long walks by the water are always fun and just meeting other dogs in the neighborhood.

I work 12 hours a day, for about half a month, every month. My schedule does rotate and my calendar is always up to date. I do work nights and am home all day. My husband is home at night so your dog would never be alone. I do try to accommodate all my clients so if a day is requested at least a month in advance I try to work my schedule around being able to accept a booking.
