I actually have a lot of flexibility with time because I am currently taking college courses completely online. I can use the extra time to help take care of pets. I currently live in my college rented home that allows pets (which is where I will provide services when requested), but my own dogs are living at my parent’s house. My college home has a fenced grassy area. My neighborhood is also a comfortable place to go on walks. I would love to spend time helping others take care of their pets. The dogs I currently have are pugs, but I also have had larger/medium sized breeds (that have passed away) including a Weimaraner and German Shepherd mix. I have had experience taking care of my own dogs when they were very young puppies, and I taught them tricks while they were young. I’ve had personal experience with giving medications to my dogs in the past and I helped take care of two dogs in old age until they passed away. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters to socialize with cats and dogs of various breeds. My senior project in high school consisted of doing work/project hours with a professional pet communicator (who also provided veterinary services) where I helped her with assistance she needed for her business and her pets. I have recently gained more cat experience because I have two housemates who own cats that I have helped take care of (Rover pets will probably not interact with cats though since they normally stay in their owner’s rooms).
