Pet care experience
I grew up on a small farm in Iowa with every kind of animal under the sun. Currently, we have 3 dogs and 1 cat that we love spending time with outdoors on hikes or snuggling up on the couch inside. I am comfortable with all temperaments, ages and breeds. All three of our dogs have very different personalities!

Vanessa did an amazing job watching our Mocha Moo! She took great care of her and she was so exhausted when we got home. Vanessa sent the perfect amount of updates, took mocha for tons of walks and played with her! She was so happy with Vanessa!
Vanessa was an amazing house/pet sitter. We’ve had other sitters that were unable to get our shy skeptical dog out for a walk, but she quickly charmed him and was able to get him out day one. She took awesome care of all of our pets and I will definitely use her again and hopefully every time we need a sitter.
Vanessa cared for our three dogs in our home over the Christmas holiday-going above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and taken care of. She catered to each dog’s specific needs, including administering medication and maintaining our Malinois’ physical rehabilitation routine. The two little ones had trouble sleeping during the first night. Vanessa stayed up until she found a sleeping arrangement, in which all the dogs were settled and comfortable. When we returned home, the dogs were very unimpressed-clearly they had a great time with Vanessa. We are so thankful to have found Vanessa and cannot recommend her highly enough.

My goal is to make both you and your fur babies comfortable and keep everyone as close to their normal routine as possible. I am super anxious about leaving my dogs with anyone, so I am very communicative and reassuring in my time with your pet.

My only request is if they have any aggressive or impulsive temperaments that I am made aware. No judgement, I just want us all to be prepared ahead of time. I have a dog who has severe separation anxiety so I am experienced in this area if this is the case.
A typical day
I have so much to explore in the area now that I'm back in Colorado! I love to go on walks, go to dog parks or hang out with the pets at home or in the yard. One of my dogs lives and breathes "ball" so I'm very comfortable constantly throwing one around!

I currently work from home M-F (and can do that from anywhere for those who prefer all day stays) and am open completely on the weekends after 2pm on Fridays.
