I grew up with various animals in my house but my sisters and I always had a dog. I grew up with a border collie mix and a miniature schnauzer. When my sisters moved out, they both decided to own dogs. One has a doberman and the other has a border collie mix and shih tzu. I've always been the one asked to babysit while they are away or to go over to let the dogs out while they're at work. It wasn't ever a short trip though because I would get caught up on a walk with the dog or just hang out with them. I feel comfortable around any dogs and will spend quality time with them while you're away. I can never replace an owner, but I'll do my best to make it feel just like home when you're there.
