Pet care experience
I’m a loving person who will go the extra mile for my dogs. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 and I dedicate most of my time taking care of pets including grooming, walking and helping them with any medication or any special needs. I provide them with a safe, clean and fun environment. I have experience with spay/neuter aftercare. I also have experience with pampered or picky dogs as well, my first dog was really picky with her food and the toys she would play with. I spend most of my time monitoring them especially puppies when they’re teething. I’d also like to mention I work with the smallest of 2lb dogs to larger breeds like golden retrievers and German shepards.

Hello, I did a "meet and greet" with Vanessa prior to a one night of boarding. My 5 year old rescue is kinda shy until she warms up. Vanessa explained that she too had a shy dog which made me feel comfortable. I dropped Skittles off for a one night stay. Skittles always hates when I drop her off and this was no exception but Vanessa was able to handle Skittles' apprehension. That night Vanessa text me letting me know that Skittles was not eating and offered to make some white rice or plain shredded chicken. I text Vanessa back saying that Skittles sometimes doesn't eat in general and that she kinda grazes on her food all day long. But the care that Vanessa showed warmed my heart because she clearly knew what to do in this situation. This was only a one night stay and I returned early the next day and texted Vanessa to see if I could pick Skittles up early and she was able to accommodate my request! I was very pleased with Vanessa. I
Vanessa is amazing! She was great with communicating from the very beginning. She took excellent care of my dog, even administering meds without any issues. She gave me daily updates, which included pictures. I highly recommend Vanessa and will definitely use her again.

For boarding and daycare, we have an open basement space and a fenced in backyard about 1/3 acre large. Pets will be under direct supervision at all times whether you board in my home or in your own. It is myself and my partner taking care of your babies in my home. We have different areas to accommodate your pets appropriately.

Let me know if your dog has special needs, if your dog is in heat or not potty trained you must provide diapers or wraps for the duration of the stay. Let me know if your dog has destructive behavior or aggression. Please include allergy information as well. This is to keep everyone safe and keep a sanitary environment.

I like to keep your pets stimulated as much as possible. There are plenty of balls and toys available for your fur babies to play and a large backyard to run freely.

Availability
Im currently a UMD college student who has a lot of free time in their hands. Im typically at home and available Thursday-Sunday. Monday-Wednesday I’m unavailable from 9am-12pm and 3pm-5pm. If your pet will be boarded with me on a Monday-Wednesday then potty breaks and drop off/pick up will take place between 6am-8am, 12pm-2pm, and 6pm-10pm. My partner will be home with your pets for supervision during the times I am not home. Your pets will always be under direct supervision.
