Hi! Here's a little bit about me- I just moved here from Missouri on 2/4/2023 and am eager to continue working with dogs! Four years ago I made the difficult decision to move from my home in Massachusetts and go to Missouri to be with my husband. He has been active duty in the military for almost 17 years. I left behind the business that I built and operated for over 3 years in Massachusetts. I ran a doggy daycare, dog walking and boarding business with 8 employees and 120+ clients. I had anywhere between 16-28 dogs daily for daycare and offered every dog related service that a dog owner could possibly need. I started up the same business in Missouri on a much smaller scale only weeks after moving there. I went to University of New Hampshire for Animal Sciences and have only been without a dog 5 years of my life. Working with animals has been a consistent passion of mine throughout my life and I'm very confident and comfortable handling any size dog regardless of temperament or behavioral issues. I have an abundance of references that I'm more than happy to provide upon request and I'm also more than happy to answer any and all questions pertaining to my dog related experience/skill level.

Lexi had another great stay! Vanessa is a natural with dogs. Lexi is not readily comfortable with all caregivers, but she welcomed Vanessa right away and always appears to be comfortable with her. We will definitely return!
She was wonderful with my dog. He made some friends and was clearly loved while there.
Absolutely learning so much about proper puppy training. My bloodhound loves Vanessa and is learning some commands just two weeks in. Best decision I have made in a while. I would recommend her ro anyone.
A+++ My dog Lexi had a great stay with Vanessa. Lexi is rather timid and doesn't easily take to new places and people, but she immediately liked Vanessa. I felt great peace leaving her in Vanessa's care for the day. It's clear that Vanessa is an expert and cares for the pets. She made Lexi feel at home, took her for a walk, and shared photos during the stay. I plan to take my dog back to Vanessa when I need to travel.

When doing daycare or boarding I treat every dog as if they were a part of the family. I have two very friendly dogs that love to play and are highly socialized. I have a fully fenced in yard and crates available if break time is necessary or separation is needed to decompress. I'm able to accommodate for every dogs individual needs. If I am boarding a dog that is not keen on playing with other dogs, doesn't like to be overwhelmed, or is older and needs more tender care I am fully capable of making them feel at home and at ease. Every dog is different and the care that I provide to them varies based on their individual needs.

I don't breed discriminate in any way. I do feel that it's best and only right that every owner have the courtesy to provide me with full disclosure about any and all behaviors specific to the dog; knowing more will only help me better accommodate for the individual dogs needs.
A typical day
Every dog is different in that they have their own individual needs and or physical limitations whether it be due to age, weather, injury, etc. so the activities and or length of an activity will all be based on the individual dog.

Working with dogs is my primary job and takes precedent over everything else. I've dedicated my life to working with animals and the fact that I can make a living off of doing what I love is very fulfilling.
