Hi! My name is Vandy and I could not tell you how much more perfect this job would be for me. I LOVE dogs and all animals in general! I have a ten year old English bulldog; a breed that demands tons of love and attention. I also enjoy the process of helping a dog learning the basics such a sit, stay, fetch, roll over, and come. I take my dog, Bubbaz, on walks every day. His favorite place, Oyster Bay in San Leandro. My wife and I are such nature lovers, we almost had our wedding their. I currently have a honda odessy mini van, the seats fold down, great for multiple dogs. I also have a CR-V, also a hatchback and can fit multiple dogs. I also have plenty of experience dog-sitting. Over-night stays as well.​​ I made sure to fed them and supply plenty of water, bathed, walked, ran, and just cuddled in a couch with the pets I dog sat for. I also provided medication to the dogs who needed it. I consider dog-walking as a hobby and not a job, which I feel makes me a great candidate because I will look forward to seeing these pets everyday and providing quality service. Rain or shine, I can and will be there for your furry pals. I signed up with Rover because they have access to all of the locals who need pet assistance and handle every client with care. I have introduced many dogs to one another and it just takes some time. Not all dogs enjoy being with other dogs and that is okay. Other dogs love to chase another while others like to sit back and relax. I am willing to take care of the high energy and low energy pets. If I see a dog is stressed and not adapting to the area well, I will make sure to inform you and maybe we can work through it together.
