I will take care of your dog in my home for typically up to a week (could be longer in some cases) on a sporadic basis. For example, when you need to be away from home for vacacation, work, or other reasons. I love dogs, and really want the benefits of having a dog now and then, but I am not able to commit to having my own dog full time. So I am hoping dog sitting can fill a very dog-needy void in my life. I am retired and can be fairly flexible, working my dog sitting time periods around my other activities, such as travel, and around your needs. My son, who works full time had a wonderful dog Atlas, who recently passed due to illness. I had Atlas for a week or so at a time, now and then, when my son needed to travel. Atlas was my best friend and we had such a wonderful, fun, loving relationship. I would love to have a similar relationship with dogs whose owners need dog care. I grew up with dogs. We always had one or more at home. They were always a big part of my life. I’m married and my wife loves dogs too.
