We are Val and Tony, a young professional couple who lost our beloved yorkie, Preston to cancer. Preston was our heart beat for 11 wonderful years. Not ready to open our hearts to a forever friend yet, we hope to open our home to provide care and kindness to your beloved pet. We live in a spacious apartment just one block away from Washington Square Park. Your pet could have full roam of the place or kennel time, sleep in bed with us or in their own. Pets who stay with us get the golden treatment of a walk in the park in the morning and one in the evening and as many bathroom breaks and belly rubs they need to be a happy pup

We've gone to Vallena several times to care for our beloved pup. Winston was very shy when he first met Vallena and she was very patient with him and allowed him to warm up to her at his own speed -- the next thing I knew the two were playing and he is always excited to greet her. Vallena is very attentive to the puppy, is happy to follow special instructions, and goes above and beyond to make sure the pup is well comfortable, well cared for, and having fun! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
Vallena is by far one of the biggest dog lovers I know! She had her dog Preston for 11 years (he just passed away a few months ago) and I saw her mother that dog for the entire time and was the best mommy ever. She is always trusted with my dog Bradley (and I never trust leaving him with anyone but her). She is caring, loving, fun, energetic and would be AMAZING at this. A typical day
Both of us work full-time jobs M-F so we prefer to take pets for weekend stays, however we have a wonderful dog walker who could be scheduled for special circumstances and are flexible if the dog is potty pad trained because they are used to that city life. Walks in Washington Square park will happen in the morning and evenings. There are dog runs at the park for large or small dogs if your pet likes to romp around with other dogs before taking their afternoon/evening nap. We took our pet with us everywhere and showered him we love, so if your mate likes to roam about town or stay home and cuddle we can accommodate that too!
