I have been raised around dogs since i was born. I absolutely love all dogs regardless of breed, and am proficient in understanding their behaviors, needs, and how to care for them. I know how to react and respond to frightened or energetic dogs, and have no problems with roughhousing or being bitten by accident. When i see a dog, i can't help but want to pet or cuddle it. I have interacted with all types of dogs, from pit bulls and german shepherds to terriers and chihuahuas. I am very knowledgeable about dog breeds and have been known to stand up for a dog who is being mistreated or given a bad rap, such as pit bulls. I I love playing with dogs and taking them for long walks, since that is what i did with my dogs before moving to Alaska. I want to help take care of other peoples dogs because i miss my own, and i am not allowed to own a dog where i live, which is at UAA. I can't wait to start.
