Hi! I'm Val! I'm a clinical laboratory scientist and a dog lover. My teenage son, Asher is a partner with me in caring for your dog. When school is out (summer/breaks), Asher is there so your dogs would never be home alone! Your dog will be treated just like our own - they will be free to roam the house all day and sit/sleep on couches, beds, floor, etc. I prefer to kennel them only when we are not home (which is pretty rare) - this is for the dog's safety as I don't want to leave dogs together unsupervised. I've had dogs my entire life - from beagles and Yorkies to labs and soft-coated wheaten terriers. My only dog right now is Bear - a nine-year-old soft-coated wheaten terrier. He is one big snuggle bug and very docile. He looks like a walking shag carpet. I'm looking to host other non-aggressive, housebroken dogs. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your dog company. If needed I can easily crate your dog for their comfort.

Valerie is amazing.
This is a mother & son. The son did all the in house visits (1 with him mother). He made sure that my 1 cat was pulled & gave them wet food once a day. I did have a self cleaning litter in one room & a regular one in another. Both litter boxes were full when I got home. The power had gone out at some point. The container to put scooped litter in was still empty. The water bowl was empty & the water fountain was barely spitting out water. I informed Valerie of what I came home to. I have camera in my house so I was about to see he had not checked the self cleaning litter box tray. The visits were short, 10 minutes or less.
Very responsive and flexible! She sends pictures without being asked for one. Overall Very satisfied with her and plan on boarding our dogs with her in the future!

Since there are kids in this home and I sometimes have other clients' dogs at my house, I prefer dogs that are non-aggressive. Food aggression is usually not a problem, but anxious dogs can be a challenge when we have multiple dogs staying over.
A typical day
I have three kids that love dogs! There is always someone home to play with or snuggle your dog! That means they also have four beds to choose from if they want to sleep in a bed :)

Availability
When school is out, my son is home all day with the dogs. Otherwise, during the week your dog would be alone from 8am - 3:30 pm.
