Pet care experience
I have been pet and house sitting for friends, family, and clients since a young age. I am currently working at a boarding and training facility. I have experience as a dog trainer, groomer assistant, and veterinary technician. I am comfortable with young puppies (have great potty training advice!) as well as older dogs. I can administer medication orally or injectable, if needed. I have 3 furkids of my own: Reggie is my 10yr old, 70lb australian shepherd mix who loves to play ball. Dolly is my 13yr old, 15lb puggle mix that I rescued and turned into my training partner at a previous employer. And last but not least, Stevie is a 6yr old, 10lb blind terrier mix that I rescued as a puppy.

Valerie was very sweet and communicated well! Just needed out frog to be let out in the backyard and she went the extra mile to give our Beau sweet cuddles and enough time to stretch his legs. Very pleased with her services! Will be booking again!
Valerie has been a dog lover since I have known her. She has taken care of my animals many of times and I never have any hesitation leaving my pets with her and even for an extended period of time. You can not go wrong having Valerie to be your pet sitter, she is the best!!
I have never met a person that loves animals as much as Valerie House. She constantly goes above and beyond to care for pets. She is always trying to find homes for dogs and really cares about their well being. Her last two dogs are rescues (1 being disabled) that she could not find homes for so she decided to take them in under her own roof. This is a testament to not only how much she loves animals, but of her kindness and compassion as a person. This combined with her experience as a dog trainer and her veterinary knowledge is why I believe Valerie would be an excellent addition to the team at Rover.
I absolutely love Valerie! She has such a huge love and passion for dogs! Years ago I was able to work with Valerie and teach her how to become a pet trainer and I was able to see first hand how well she works with dogs. Training dogs came naturally to her and she understands dog behavior and knows how to communicate to dogs and understands them. She treats all the fur babies like they are her own and when given the chance will spoil them like crazy!
