I am new to Rover. But an expert at caring for all kinds of pets. Growing up in Austin Texas, surrounded by animals - dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, birds, and a mean-a** ram named Napoleon, I loved taking care of every single one of them. I founded and ran a pet sitting/dog-walking business for over six years, have raised bundles of puppies and kittens, and know how to help and handle older pets and those with health issues and medical/physical needs - I can pill animals (with or without a pet-piller), give ear drops, administer asthma medication via an inhaler, and inject subcutaneous fluids. Knowing first-hand how important it is to trust the person looking over your pet, I promise to follow your directions to a “T,” be vigilant in my guardianship, and assure you and your pet are equally thrilled with my services. Valerie took care of my two babies (a kitten and my senior dog) for 3 weeks! She did such an amazing job caring for their every need. She always sent me adorable photos and videos and I felt very comfortable. I know my animals love her. I can’t recommend her enough. Valerie was fantastic. She was so caring and capable. My dog Willie was so comfortable with her. She took him for nice walks and sent me consistent, adorable updates to let me know he was just fine! I would definitely use her again!

In my cozy home/office your pet will have company all day and can freely roam wherever they like. There's even a perfectly-pitched ramp for those who prefer lounging on a (my) comfy bed. I will take your pet out "to do their business" often during the day to an outdoor enclosed area of my building and around the friendly neighborhood. And, as I like to walk/hike, will take them with me unless you prefer otherwise.

When we meet, I will have a comprehensive list of questions to ask. Please assure, too, that if we're having a sleepover, your little guy or girl brings her favorite toys and treats. And, of course, you are welcome to contact me anytime before and during your pet's visit.
A typical day
We can hang together one-on-one in my home, take neighborhood walks, or venture out to Nichols Canyon, Silver Lake, or the like. We can play fetch in the enclosed outside area of my building or bundle up in blankets on the sofa and watch movies. You tell me what your pet loves, and that's what we'll do!

Availability
As I currently do not have any pet-kids of my own, your pet will be the center of my attention. I work from home, too, so they will have constant companionship. We'll go on daily walks around the neighborhood and/or at Nichols Canyon and Silver Lake if you are comfortable with the latter two. And all feeding and, if applicable, medication will go according to the schedule you provide and exactly as you specify.
