Pet care experience
I’m a student and love spending time with animals when I’m not studying! I’ve moved around and have been assisting Rover clients for almost years in areas like Savannah, GA, Lexington, KY, Spokane, WA and Moscow, ID in a range of all provided services. I took a two year long break from Rover due to traveling and school, but my availability is much more open this year! I volunteered at my local animal shelter for 10+ years, and helped manage off-site adoptions, cat and dog feeding, clean up, and of course, lots of cuddles. I love interacting with all animals–– friendly or shy and am always eager to go on walking adventures. I am happy to take your pet(s) for fun walks around local areas, spend lots of cuddle time together, or even assist to bathroom breaks and meal times. I’ve owned cats my whole life, so I am always happy to assist with any cat related care as well.

Valerie watched my apartment and pup for about a week and did a great job. Good communication and she took great care of everything. I would definitely recommend!
Amazing job!
Our cat took a minute to accept Valerie but she was patient and worked with him. Would definitely book again. Pretty sure she took out the garbage and moved our bin out even though we didn't ask her to, which was very nice.

I don't currently accept sitting in my own home, but I am happy to provide overnight care if needed. I have worked with a large range of dogs and energy levels and am happy to provide walks and/or play time in addition to basic care needs. I am a small person, so unfortunately large or high energy dogs can occasionally be difficult to walk, but I’m happy to assist in other areas.

How does your dog handle walking? Can you tell me about your dog's temperament and any health concerns? I'm happy to assist to larger dogs, but cannot preform long walks if they have little/poor leash experience.

I'm happy to take your pup(s) on daily walks and keep them busy with playtime and cuddles. I enjoy exploring local areas and am happy to go on little adventures with your dog.

Availability
I work part time, so I am typically away in the afternoons and some evenings, but am happy to be otherwise flexible and assist with changing schedules. I provide basic services such as dog walking, pet sitting, drop in visits and even basic grooming if needed.
