I enjoy hugging dogs so tightly
Pet care experience
I have an 8 year old pit bull. I’ve learned so much with him and he is my first dog. He still continues to show me a lot and I would like to expand my abilities from what my dog has taught me. I have fostered a dog along with her puppies. Eventually I asked for help from a rescue group and they’ve helped me find good loving homes for them. I continue speaking to people from the rescue group and have offered my time when they need help. I will be available Monday through Thursday, except Wednesday. Some Sundays I will also be available. During the week, it’ll be usually during the evening time because I work full time. I’m only doing this for the summer because I attend school. I don’t have any preference to any dog type. I’m usually the big dog lover but I’ve enjoyed the smaller breeds as well. I would just like to know how are they triggered such as will they bark if they hear a knock on the door, do they pull when walked, what odd behaviors do they have that will probably worry me but I shouldn’t be too worried about.
A typical day
For walks, I would like to stay around the neighborhood. I rather not let the owner feel worried if something were to happen such as a car accident if we had to drive to a dog park. If anything, it’ll be at a park nearby.
