Big or small, seniors or pups, beagles or bulldogs - dogs are my buddies and I love taking care of them while their parents are away.

Val took loving care of our Pitbull and Chihuahua who are used to being spoiled-sent many pics which alleviated our anxiety at leaving them. We recommend Val without reservation. Thank you Val!
Val came through last minute and really saved the day for us to dogsit over Thanksgiving. We have a 50 lb pit mix who had just experienced a situation that left her very fearful and distrusting and Val managed her fantastically. She was super communicative throughout, sending photos and videos. She left the house as clean (if not cleaner!) than it was when we left. Highly recommend and would love to have her again!
Val was incredible! We booked her pretty last-minute as we needed someone to house sit and dog sit for us while we were out of town. She took excellent care of our (large!) 7-month-old puppy, and great care of our home as well. She was excellent at communicating and sending photos. There was the potential for hurricane-like winds while we were gone, and Val went above and beyond by bringing in our furniture/furniture covers and anything she felt could get blown away. She did this without us even asking. She also cleaned the home and left it better than it was before. We are truly grateful and will definitely have her back again!

An animal’s comfort is a must so regular walks and routines help them feel safe while their parents are away. I find that letting the dog establish the page of our relationship helps and am patient for them to come to me in between walks. Walks to warm them up though and once we are buddies I’m all for pets and couch cuddles.

Mostly prefer friendly dogs- but even choosey pups have warmed up to me. All breeds and sizes are my friends and I enjoy seeing big dogs keep it cool and little dogs use their voice.
A typical day
Wherever mom and dad advise - around their neighborhood or a dog park if one is local. Playing games and pets. Of them the pups follow me around the home and initiate when they want to play!

Availability
Dogs usually instantly like me and warm up fast. I’m an empathetic animal lover (vegetarian for many years and animal rights activist) and love dogs and cats. I take pride in feeding them, walking them, and making sure their mom or dad’s apartments stay super clean.
