Hi! My name is Kira Alexander and I am a complete dog lover. I currently have a sweet and loving Shepherd mix named Sasha. I have been helping rescue dogs over the past 4 years with Homeward Trails Animal Shelter since losing my first dog, a beautiful Rottweiler named Lola Lou. I would love to help take care of your dog however I can. From walking or dog training, to just plain old exercise to help take some stress off of you after a long day of work. Kira and her husband were incredible! Our Leo was super comfortable in their home. He loved staying with them and it was reassuring knowing they were caring for our dog as if he was their own. They are truly dog people. I would recommend their services to anyone!
Kira’s husband came and walked my pup this past week. She went running, and she was given tons of attention. I felt comfortable knowing she was being handled by someone with a true passion and understanding of dogs. I received daily updates and pictures which was great. She even got to meet his dog, and she was happy to meet a friend!
Piper is always excited when we pull up to Kira and Josh's home. She runs to the door without even saying goodbye and is greeted by Sasha with whom she gets along with great. Its obvious that Kira and Josh love dogs, and we are always happy to leave Piper in their care.

I know that mental stimulation for pups is extremely important so during drop bus or even walks, I always try to practice or maintain basic training and switch up routes we may go as to keep things exciting

I currently work remotely so I am flexible through the day for walks or drop ins. I have a daughter who loves to help too on the weekends!
