Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals since I was a small child. My first pet was an adorable black kitty and since then I’ve had various animals, including 2 dogs. I have also had the chance to foster a few kittens, I know a lot about truly caring and nurturing animals. I have a deep love for our furry friends. With my background of personal animal care I know a lot about the importance of our pets getting enough outside time, getting fed properly, and receiving the upmost love.

Umi offered to pet sit my dog a couple years ago at a martial arts class I was taking with her mom and she sometimes makes me wonder if I’m doing a good enough job as an owner! I love her to bits and trust all of her abilities as a pet sitter.
I got a dog last summer, and Umi never hesitates to ask if she can take him to the dog park or walk him around the neighborhood. I always catch her chasing the dog around in our backyard and playing with him when she comes over, even when she’s drained all of her energy! She is a true animal lover.
As a long time neighbor, I’ve known Umi since she was in the second grade. She’s had 2 cats, one who had an amazing life and one that has just entered. Sometimes I'll catch her in the front yard carrying her cat around so that he can touch the trees and get some outside air. When she had a dog, I had never seen a teenager give so much love and attention to an animal before it amazed me Lol. She is the animal whisperer!
Umi has looked after my chihuahua Pochita multiple times throughout the last year's and Pochita absolutely adores her! She is great with animals and has an immense amount of love for them. If I can trust her with my baby, I’m sure others will as well.
