I frequently house sit and take care of friend's pets. I've lived with large dogs and rescues my whole life. My childhood was spent with a Husky/Chow mix rescue and a German Shepherd mix. I've lived with a number of animals that I've fallen in love with since moving to Richmond in 2010 including a rambunctious rabbit, a finicky little Bombay cat, an elegant Belgian Shepherd, and a silly Pitt Bull/Mastiff mix. I'm a proud new cat mom to an adorable one year old, plant-loving rescue cat named Bessie (pictured). I have experience with animals who have had a difficult past and/or issues with dog aggression; however I would prefer to walk dogs who have been leash trained. I love to read and to do street photography, so I'd be happy to take your pup walking with me or to a lovely Richmond park with a good book and spoil them with pets and play time! While I will happily walk several dogs that belong to the same owner, I would prefer not to mix pets who have not yet met, so you can be sure that your pet will get plenty of one-on-one time. When I'm not bartending, I volunteer at a local history museum and an art center. I'm available anytime on Sundays and Mondays or before 3pm Thursday-Saturday.
