Previous foster-parent with over three years of experience from kill shelter puppies to fospice care encompassing all breed types and sizes. Exceptional attentive love and care as my mantra, I have an immensely big heart for animals in need of attention, grooming, training, and socialization with other animals and humans. I work in medical research and medical device sales and have a very flexible schedule along with my partner who works from home that ensures animals under my care are not left unattended for over 2 hours at any time throughout the day. I am just as passionate about health-centric animal activities as I am about human health and fitness. I live in a beautiful craftsman-style home with a private entrance to our apartment in the back. I live with my girlfriend and her super friendly and playful 6-year old Samoyed. The home is in a wonderful safe neighborhood in Pasadena with a fenced-in yard surrounding the entire home for playful pups. I generally treat and train dogs utilizing the approach wherein a positive response is given when a task is performed correctly rather than a negative response when a task is performed incorrectly, ensuring to never raise my voice when informing the animal of a negative action performed and only raising it in excitement for positive affirmation. I tend to tailor my interactions/training/care of animals to their owners preferences with respect to their behavior and regimens (i.e. permitting a dog to sit on couches, sleep in beds, etc.) but like to ensure proper exercise, fresh air, and socialization at least three times a day. I am flexible to the times walks/feedings/baths occur, and generally prefer to keep it consistent with what you as the owner maintain for a ritual.
