My girlfriend and I love animals! We have two medium dogs, a German Shepherd mutt named Emma who's about 35 pounds and a Chocolate Lab mutt named Luna who's about 45 pounds. We shower them with love every day and always make it a point to get them on a couple walks around the neighborhood each day too. In addition, we are constantly going on hikes, camping trips, and other adventures as well. Your dog could be as involved or separate from these things as you desire. Unfortunately, Luna has hip dysplasia and has been in pain a lot of her life, despite our best efforts to manage it - including an FHO surgery on each hip. That being said, we've found a routine that works for her and she's living a full and happy life. The reason I mention this is because it's given me a lot of experience working with and managing an anxious/fearful dog as well as administering medication. I would love to look after and care for your dog when you can't!
