"I Dog Care, do you?"

Pet care experience

Growing up, my father would observe and complement me on my a special connection with animals. He many times refers to a story from when I was young where I picked up a bumble bee and let it go without being stung. Regardless of what my father has told me regarding my younger years, they did and still do hold Steve Irwin as a hero who I idolized, and once wanted to follow his footsteps into a profession as a herpetologist. Growing up I owned and took care of veiled chameleons, to Argentina horned frogs, to African cichlids, and of course dogs. I miss and remember my childhood dogs Shannon and Kelsey, who were Bichon Frises. As an adult now I have been blessed for the last eight years with my rescue Greyhound Jan. Before moving to Colorado three years ago I had worked as a farm hand at Stamford Nature Center in Connecticut. That job, along with other animal related employments and experience, have enriched me with knowledge of how to properly care and tend to animals great and small. Each and every dog I have had in my life has been unique, had its own distinct personality, and affected my life profoundly. Some of my greatest relationships have been with animals, not only because they provide us pure love without asking anything in return, but they have also taught me some of life's more valuable lessons - unconditional love, living in the moment, and loyalty. Every animal I have the ability to interact with had helped to remind me to not take things for granted, and to take the time to be grateful for the gifts that are hidden in the ordinary events of my own life. Dog's give us the best of themselves, and in return we owe them our best and the best care we can give them. Additionally, I am an entrepreneur who is blessed with the ability to work from home. Which means I make it a priority to spend as much time with the animals I am taking care of.

Tyler put us a ease for leaving our dog for the first time. He sent updates throughout the stay to let us know how she was doing and when we picked her up she looked happy and that she had a good time. Would definitely recommend him to watch your dog.

Tyler has taken care of my pup a few times. Tyler is very responsive and quick to respond to any requests. He has been accommodating with my schedule and available at the last minute when needed. When I get home from work, my pup is relaxed, content, and tired. Just what I'm looking for after a long day at work. I would highly recommend Tyler to take good care of your pup!

Tyler is truly the only person I feel comfortable leaving my dog with because I know he treats her as his own. He goes above and beyond even providing new toys and treats every time I’ve had him dog sit. He is extremely reliable and flexible in terms of scheduling. He is honest and trustworthy and amazing at sending daily updates and pictures of how everything is going. I would highly recommend Tyler as the best pet sitter I’ve ever come across.

A typical day

I am fortunate to live in an area where there are many dog parks nearby as well as quite trails to go on long walks. I am an active person and enjoy providing adequate play time, as well as much needed down time/R and R, for every animal. My prerogative is to make every animal feel comfortable, safe, and as much at home with me as they feel with their owners.
