Pet care experience

Having grown up with dog siblings my whole life, pet care is second-nature. Walks are a daily joy, as well as consistently-times meals, belly rubs, bum scratches, and treats when allowed. I don't mind bathing a dog when necessary. I understand the restraints that come with having pets, and I'm eager to help others feel that their fur baby is in the care of a responsible and loving sitter while they are away. I welcome the opportunity to spend time with four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes. Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you!

Tyla took great care of our dog, who is old and a bit infirm. We’d recommend her unequivocally!

Tyla was wonderful. Very professional and understanding. She has a lot of experience with dogs and knew exactly how to handle a Diva of a Jack Russell mix!

Tyla took excellent care of our two fur babies and house while we were in New Orleans. It was a great feeling being on vacation knowing the dogs were in excellent hands while we were gone. I give extra credit to Tyla because she watched the dogs during the Nor Easter that dumped 2 feet of snow on us. We came home to 2 happy dogs who loved their week with Tyla and our home in excellent shape just like when we left. We would definitely use Tyla again in a heartbeat.

Safety, trust & environment

When visiting a client’s home, I generally greet the dog and initially get him/her outside for a walk. This puts us in a neutral zone and gives the dog a chance to relax and let our some energy. When we are in the house, I give the dog a chance to show off his/her tricks, and maybe relax for a belly rub. When a client come to my home, I have a large yard and live on a quiet street which is ideal for walking. We also have 1 friendly house dog who is 8 years old and 24 pounds.

Information Tyla M. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any specific needs. I always try to be thorough and attentive with special needs, and it’s helpful to know these things ahead of time.

A typical day

Though it sometimes seems impossible to tire a dog out, I certainly love to try. Long walks are a daily routine, and if there is a fenced in dog park around we will always embrace it for playing fetch! If your dog is low energy by nature we can tone is down with a little sunbathing on the porch or a cozy nap inside.
