Hello, I am Tye and I love exploring! Long walks through the neighborhood, hiking, and visits to the park with my 13 year old Staffordshire Terrier Sookie are my favorite activities. I grew up with family dogs, and I adopted Sookie when she was 4 years old. I have experience caring for everything from tiny puppies to elderly dogs as well as very large, very active dogs, and I can keep up with the best of them! One of the most important things about being a dog walker/pet sitter is ensuring that both my furry and human clients are comfortable and happy. I always make sure to send lots of updates and photos, and I have a keen eye for anything your pet might need while they are in my care. I will treat them as if they were my own special girl! I am lucky to have a flexible schedule which means I can walk your dog any time of day. Sookie and I have explored all over town so I am very familiar with the various neighborhoods, parks, and trails of the Vallejo and Benicia areas. We even get up to American Canyon sometimes! My wife is a San Francisco native and we moved to Vallejo in 2016 to be close to her family as we raise our new son. We love the Vallejo community and have made many great dog and human friends in the area. Dogs love our house because they have a big, fully fenced yard to run around in, and because we keep things positive! I'm a big believer that dogs teach us, not the other way around. I study positive training techniques and use a treat pouch and a clicker to show everyone the way to have fun together. Your dog can snuggle in a plush dog bed, lounge in the kiddie pool, or play fetch in the yard. We always leave the porch door open so they can choose inside or outside, and we make regular trips to one of the nearby parks (just a 5 minute walk away!) We also have plenty of toys and homemade organic, gluten free treats!
