Hi I’m Tristan! I have been a dog lover since adopting my first rescue pup 18 years ago. Since that time I have adopted or fostered over 20 dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Wolfhounds. My specialty is sighthounds, and I’ve spent almost a decade volunteering for Greyhound Pets of America with much of that time serving on the executive board of my local chapter. I have seen it all when it comes to my fur babies and foster dogs: administering meds, dogs with special needs, post-surgery/injury care, emergencies, etc. We have two dogs (a greyhound and a mini doodle mix) who love company. We would be honored to care for your fur babies.

Tristan watched my 6 month old heeler for the day and was so good with him! He sent me (high quality) photo updates, and was careful with my pup as he's a timid guy. Very grateful to have someone so caring take care of my pup!
Tristan is great! I’ve had him watch my puppy for a couple of work trips and some day care sessions. You can tell he really lives dogs and treats my dog like his own. His own dogs are a great mix for mine- a mellow older dog who models good behavior and a younger active dog that will play non-stop. Both are super sweet. Highly recommend!
Tristan took great care of our little buddy and made us feel at ease while we were away. He sent daily updates with pictures, that we loved receiving. Would highly recommend!

We have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to roam, and we have pet gates placed anywhere that a curious dog shouldn’t go.

We have two dogs, so it is important that your dog not be aggressive towards other dogs. We will do our best to maintain any routines or training you’ve implemented.
A typical day
Most of our guests get all the activity they can handle in the house and yard. I like to spend a lot of time playing with the dogs. But if I’m sensing a need for a change of scenery I’m happy to accommodate. I live a few blocks from Sugarhouse Park, and 10-15 minutes from several dog-friendly hiking trails. While I prefer to do only on-leash activities with new dogs, I am also happy to accompany your pups at off-leash dog parks if they are well socialized and can be recalled easily.
