A little about me: I've a very knowledgable, responsible, dedicated and loving dog owner. I have 2 dogs of my own, both of which are great with other dogs. Brooklyn is currently 12, is blind now due to Glaucoma and has a little trouble getting around but enjoys her daily naps in the sun. Finn is believed to be 4 and is pretty low key and loves humans and other dogs. I'd love to run or take your dog for a hike if they're up for it. I have a huge heart for animals in general, and will shower them with love. I ran a rescue when I lived in Atlanta years ago, and have a lot of experience with behavioral issues and bully breeds. Your dog will receive daily exercise staying with me, as I like to stay active and take them on walks.

I have a fenced in yard, and use that for play as well as take them on walks. They would stay indoors with me though, and never be left unattended outside. While your dog may behave fine off leash, the only time your dog will be off leash with me is in my fenced in backyard.

I like to know as much as possible about the dog to make sure they feel comfortable in the environment and continue with the routine that you have maintained for care if they are boarding. I want the dog owner to feel comfortable with them in my care as well. I'll be asking questions about their behavioral characteristics, feeding regimen, training, and sleeping habits to get a holistic understanding of their needs in my care.
A typical day
A tired dog is a happy dog. I'm an active person, and have really missed not having a dog by my side when running or hiking, so they will get exercise with me if they are capable. I still believe that special needs dogs need exercise as well, but can be mentally stimulated with scent games or toys.

Availability
I work from home, so I'll be with your pet constantly, and have flexibility to take them on walks, etc. I typically take them on a walk in the morning and afternoon and mid day if I get time. Otherwise I have a fenced in back yard for potty breaks.
