Your dog wants to hang out with me

Pet care experience

Work-from-home dog mom who will treat your best friend like visiting royalty. I'm an experienced dog-handler of most breeds - and I love them all! My dog Hope is a mellow-natured German Shepherd who gets along great with other dogs. She loves having a fren over to join her on walks and the snuggles that follow. Paws are gently cleaned after every walk, belly scritches are abundant, and home-cooked meals are provided (unless, of course, there are dietary restrictions.) I would love the opportunity to provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for your dog because I know how hard it is to leave them! I will absolutely treat your dog as if it were my own. Safety and psychological well-being are paramount.

Trisha is a wonderful sitter! Anchovy loves going to spend the day with her and always comes home a very tired and happy pup.

I hate giving an awesome review to Trisha, bc selfishly my family and I want to keep this jewel if a person all to ourselves. But that wouldn't be fair, so here goes .... We arranged for our 1 1/2 yr old 55 lb bundle of energy/love stay with Trisha for a Thursday through Sunday while we took our son to college. From moment one she was responsive, accommodating and very congenial. She had some concerns that her handsome elderly black lab might be overtaxed by our pup, but we arranged to meet and greet a couple weeks before and they got along really well. She was accommodating on drop off and easy to communicate with about food and Hazel's habits. From the start it was apparent how much Trisha loves dogs and that Hazel was in good, capable hands. She sent us tons of pics of Hazel on walks and in her fenced in yard with Bandit, and of the dogs lounging together in her very dog-friendly apartment. When we had some difficulty getting home from our trip, she was able to help us out with an additional night. The only trouble we have now is that Hazel will miss Trisha and Bandit -- until the next time. If there were more stars to give than 5 we would def give them. Highly recommended.

Trisha was amazing with Benji! Benji is a young and VERY energetic dog and she knew the right mix of play/walk/rest time for him. Trisha also is very serious about safety which is really important with a dog that is not great with recall and may try to escape if given the opportunity. We felt very confident at the end of the day that Trisha truly treats the dogs she care for like her own sweet dog Bandit. Highly recommend!

Trisha was incredible, so happy to leave my pup in her care. I will definitely be making her part of my petcare team!

Safety, trust & environment

I shape the experience around your dog’s personality to lessen the anxiety of being away from home.. Some like busy, bustling days and some simply want a low-key snoozle retreat- but usually it’s a mix of both. My goal is a happy pup who returns home with a heightened sense of self-esteem and an adventure to call their own. They bring so much joy into our lives, how can we not return the favor? All dogs in my care receive home-cooked meals, wholesome treats, and lots of pawsitive affirmation.

Information Trisha P. would like to know about your pet

Does your dog have any dietary restrictions? Any medical conditions? Personality quirks? How well do they walk on a lead? Are there triggers that I should be aware of such as other dogs, loud sirens, etc?

A typical day

We live in the VB arts district and love to explore the neighborhood on foot (street sniffs are how dogs experience the world, of course.) We also have a small yard for romps. And for our older or chiller frens--just serenity, snackums, and plenty of snugs. I will happily accommodate individual needs. No furniture is off-limits. It’s a dog’s world, I am just lucky enough to live in it.
