I am especially found of the small dogs. I often refer to my precious chihuahua as my "1st born". (Sadly, he is no longer with us.) I am familiar with their special needs and nuances. I was Cisco's mom for over 12 years. My neighbor often has me watch their shelter dog. (I think golden retriever sort of mix) My 9 year old son enjoys helping out and getting to know the dogs. I am not willing to take on the full-time commitment of being a dog owner again but this is a nice way for our family to get our "dog fix". We will treat your furry friend like a member of our family. We do let dogs on some of the furniture, especially the little dogs.
