Pet care experience
First I'm educated and trained at the director level in the veterinary industry and have worked for the 3 largest corporations (Colgate)Hill's Pet Nutrition -Science Diet, (Mars) Banfield Pet Hospital (Issaquah, as practice manager with over 2,000 pet parent clients, and Advanstar publisher of the industry's official staff journals. Secondly, I love dogs! For me, they are people too, who have needs and feelings to be addressed with love, patience (sure I'll wait while they read all the pee-mail stories in the grass and on the leaves), and fun. I believe in their unconditional love and I learn from them daily the true innocence of living in the moment! I'm super attentive to their personalities, moods, nutrition, health. I had a Bichon (Bentley) for 13 years and I gave him a golden life, the best possible with premium healthcare, nutrition, fun adventures, flights around the country, training and lots and lots of love. Over the years I've been sitter for friends' pets when they went out of town. For the past 4 years I've been Auntie Trina to Thumper and Jet who spend weeks at a time with me since their mom travel's a lot. We have so much fun that they no longer tell her bye when she drops them off. They jump out of the car and immediately run in the house searching for their toys. I have all of them strewn throughout my living room and Thumper's ottoman right by the window where he LOVES to look out. I have all their favorite snacks, breakfast, dinner and fresh filtered water, changed throughout the day. When I have to go out, they are placed in their doggie mansion with fresh water, toys, and snacks. When I return, we immediately go outside to pee. Though I don't have a yard, I live in a townhouse which opens directly to the outside. I live in a beautiful community near the river trail, perfect for dog walking. Your pet will be in the very best care with me because I will treat them as my own. I worked at home until July 2018, I now have weekend boarding (drop off Friday evening pick up Sunday afternoon) and day care (Saturday and Sunday).

Trina was a good companion for our elderly Chihuahua. Her experience in an admin capacity at vet clinics meant she was not intimidated by the various medications he needs throughout the day. Although she normally boards in her home, she accommodated our wish to stay at our house (we live just down the block). We are grateful for the care she gave Toadie while we were gone.
Trina is a wonderful sitter! She doted on my puppy and made sure she had a super fun day with the other dog in her care. Recommend highly!

A typical day
I live by the river trail surrounded by parks, lush greenery, and poop bag stations with disposal receptacles. We would go to the park 2-3 times a day. Walking them makes me take a break from work and get fresh air and walk myself. Fun activities are playing with their favorite toys, usually there's a hedge hog involved. Sometimes they like to run and catch with their toys and other times they parade them around and I play with them.
