Being a former dog owner (and a current devoted servant to three cats) in addition to being a homeowner, I have the utmost respect for your pets and your home. I will love your pets like my own and care for your house well, too. I know that some dogs love doggie day cares and kennels, but many tend to experience much less stress when they are home while their family is away. I'm a responsible adult with a flexible and steady day-job who loves being a petsitter on the side. Depending on my work tasks, it's very likely that I can spend whole or partial work days with your pets to give them extra company while you're away. I've cared for more than 60 dogs (and 35 cats) throughout my adulthood, all of various breeds, temperaments, and needs. And, I'll be honest that I've fallen into puppy love with each and every one of them.
