Hello! I’m a dog mama to our 2 year old British Lab, “Blue.” My husband and I love him with all our hearts and he really is a member of our family. Blue’s fun-loving, quirky, friendly personality is one that keeps us laughing and on schedule. I currently do work part-time on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, but my schedule is flexible and I work from home. My husband, Blue and I are happy to open our home to dogs and puppies of any age or breed. Our only requirement is that your dog is friendly with people and with other pups. We completely understand that a new environment can be scary and stressful for some, and we are absolutely able to work with that and ease him or her into the new space. I encourage those interested in boarding to schedule a time to stop by and “say hi” or use us as a day-sitter, at least one day leading up to the overnight, so your pup can be better adjusted in our home and with Blue - it will be less of a shock for the first overnight that way. I will not bring Blue with me when I walk or check in on your pup (unless you would specifically ask that I do for social interaction.) Your dog or puppy will have my undivided attention and care each day. I am happy to work on basic obedience (sit, stay, down, drop, place, etc.) I just ask you provide me with your desired commands, so we are consistent. (Some owners may say “out” instead of drop.) I am happy to answer any questions you may have in advance and I would love to meet you (and your pup) in person prior to initial services beginning to be sure we are all comfortable.
