Belly rubs, walks galore, a YARD!
Pet care experience
I am incapable of walking past a pup on the street, at the park, or on a trail without saying hello, giving pats, and likely telling the dog what a good pup they are. I can't help it - I love dogs! My camera roll is full of pictures and videos of my dogs and our Rover friends. We work hard to make sure you dog feels like one of the pack when they stay at our home (which consists of myself, my partner Josh, and our two adorable, friendly, loving, playful fur babies). Your pup will be included on hikes, outings to the dog park, and long neighborhood walks. I am happy to send pictures and videos of your dog living their best life when they stay with us. We require a meet and greet before booking a stay. This is important to us because we want to make sure that everyone - humans and dogs alike - feel comfortable and are a good fit! At this time, we are not able to host puppies who are not crate trained or dogs who cannot be left alone for any period of time. Thanks for understanding! *Any damages caused by pet will be assessed and will be the responsibility of the owner to clean/replace upon pick up.* *Drop offs before 8am and pick ups after 10pm may require an extra surcharge. Please ask about this!*

Tricia was wonderful all around! She offered a meet and greet ahead of time. She was responsive, communicative, prompt, and thoughtful. She sent lots of photos and updates and was accommodating when we needed to pick up an hour later than planned.

We have a dog-safe home and fully fenced yard. We can crate or separate dogs if needed. We keep pets leashed when outdoors unless instructed otherwise by the owner. Dogs are able to play and potty in our fully fenced yard, always with human supervision, unless otherwise instructed by the owner. Our dogs are both very friendly and have accompanied us on this Rover journey for over 5 years!

We'd like to know how your dog interacts with other dogs in the house (we have a very laidback 9.5 year old Beagle as well as a playful, sweet 5 year old pit mix) and on walks. Is your dog a chewer? Is your dog a barker? How does your dog do when left at home for work, errands, etc? Do you use a crate, or does your dog roam free when you're not at home?
A typical day
My partner and I work together to care for our own pups and our Rover guests. He is currently working from home so your pup is sure to get plenty of love! We walk around our neighborhood and the surrounding parks, taking different routes throughout the day to keep things interesting. Our dogs love spending time sniffing around our backyard, too! We take frequent trips to Blue Dog Pond Off-leash park to sniff around, meet other pups, or chase a ball. We also love to hike and are happy to take the pups along if they enjoy hiking!

Availability
My partner works mostly from home and is available to play, walk, and love on your pup throughout the day! We start the day with walks and breakfast, followed by play time (either in our home/yard or at a park) and naps all around! Pups get potty breaks as needed and are treated to long neighborhood walks in the afternoon and evening, typically followed by dinner and snuggles!
