I am a new dog owner, but my sister has had a dog for four years who I have taken care of many times over the last few years. I’m a reliable person who loves punctuality, lists, and helping people! I’m a physical therapist and working in healthcare has helped me understand people’s needs exceptionally well, and I have found that skill translate over into my interactions with animals as well!

As a healthcare worker, safety is always top of mind and most important. I make sure that my living space is safe at all times ranging from making sure human food items are not accessible, to having non-toxic plants in the house. I also love putting time into details by making sure they have a comfortable space, healthy treats, and a secure place to run around, burn energy, and play.

Knowing a dog’s boundaries are really important to me. What do they like and not like so I can accommodate them as much as possible. My goal is to mimic as much as possible their regular routine so they feel the most comfortable they can.
A typical day
I love going on walks! Playing fetch, tug, and other mental games with their lunch or treats to exercise their brain as well as their body. I have a high level of patience as well for continuing practice with new commands and helping continue their growth in following orders from their owners.

Availability
Currently, weekends are best for me. Anytime Friday after work so around 7pm through Sunday 10pm for dog sitting. Walking or check-ins will be around my working schedule so anytime before 7am and/or after 6pm for those tasks.
