All furniture is fair game, and we have plenty of beds and stairs for ease of getting on/off. Near Deer Valley Park (and steps from the PetSmart dog park) for walking, also biking for those high energy hounds. Fully enclosed (and shaded!) backyard. Pet CPR and first aid certified. Pick up and drop off available, vet visits, doggy day care, puppies OK. Proof of vax/vet info reqd. If your pet is overly aggressive, please consider another boarding solution. Same-day service for existing customers, 24hr advanced notice otherwise. My wife and I work from home so someone is always around keeping a watchful eye, providing food, water, meds, etc. We have 3 dogs (see below) and since 2012 have been caring for others in our home or elsewhere. Dogs were a huge part of our childhood and our lives today. Why We Started With Rover Several years ago, we were taking a trip to California that we could not bring our dogs on. So we considered leaving our pups with a Kenneling business in Scottsdale. It just seemed too foreign to us; how could we trust someone to really take care of our dogs while we are traveling, trying to enjoy ourselves on vacation? One night at the dog park, we overheard a woman at the dog park talk about her sitter. We talked for a bit and got the number for the sitter, a retired couple. The sitter wanted to meet us first, meet the dogs, see that they were current on vaccinations, etc. Everything went well. We dropped the dogs off in the evening and hit the road. It was a huge relief to not have to worry about them while we are having fun. Every few nights we’d call and check in. When we picked them up, they went bonkers, barking and licking like crazy, super excited to see us, ready to get in the car and go home. Needless to say, we’ve been using them exclusively since then. From an overnight in Flagstaff, to a month-long journey through South America, we would never have these opportunities to travel, guilt-free, without our trusted dog sitter. It’s in this spirit that we started hosting dogs via Rover in May 2017. We want you to be able to live life, enjoy friends and family, see the world… just bring back some treats.
