Looking for a significant pupper

Pet care experience

I have lived with and cared for dogs since I was 9. The only reason I don’t have one now is because I am a graduate student at CU -Anschutz and want to wait until I can afford all the good stuff (pet insurance, the good food, and plenty of time) to get my own with my Fiancé, Tatum. Over the last 5-10 years I have dog sat for friends and colleagues for up to a month at a time. I have spent extensive amounts of time with rescues and other sensitive pups who just need that little bit of extra love and patience as well. Please help me fill the void while I wait patiently to get my own pupper!

Trent is fantastic! We got daily updates, he was super responsive, and when we got back he had already stripped the linens and got them going in the washer for us. We have used him twice already, recommended him to others, and he is now our go to house/pet sitter. Just a fantastic person!

Trent was amazing with our dog and cat. He was attentive, went above and beyond on walks with our pup, and kept us up to date with everything he did for them. We couldn't ask for a better pet/house sitter!

Trent was such a great pet sitter! He went above and beyond to make our dog comfortable, took care of our home, and was super communicative. I would highly recommend his services!

Trent is an excellent puppysitter. He is always on-time, professional, and super friendly. He is great with our dogs, especially our high anxiety pup. We highly recommend Trent!

Safety, trust & environment

If and when you need me to enter your home, I will always be respectful and leave things as I have found them. I will absolutely treat your dogs as if they were my own and will not stray from your comfort zone. If you are comfortable with being more adventurous, I am absolutely thrilled to take your dog on long day hikes. If you’re dog is more of a couch potato and just needs some love, attention, and neighborhood walks, I am happy to sit on the couch and let your dog eat (or do) my homework with plenty of play time. It’s really up to you! Let’s work together to make sure you and your pup are comfortable.

Information Trent H. would like to know about your pet

Here are some of the questions I will ask before beginning sitting, walking, etc: Is your dog good with other dogs? Is your dog good with other people (and children)? These basic questions are just to keep everyone safe. I will happily meet whatever your dogs needs are and will not turn you down based on the answer to these questions.

A typical day

I am an avid outdoors enthusiast. When I watch other’s dogs I typically like to go for long hikes with my Fiancé. In the winter I love to take the doggos snowshoeing or XC skiing at one of the many front range destinations. On more mellow work days I walk myself around Belmar park at least 2-3 times per day, so adding your dog to that equation is not a problem!
