Pet care experience
If you are searching for a loving, responsible, and active pet sitter with 9 years of professional experience caring for animals, you found me! Currently we have 9 acres and about a smaller but large fenced in separate backyard (2 Chickens fenced in separately next to yard). We have a huge field to roam and play! Your animal(s) will have my full attention and be worn out and full of love when you are reunited. I will walk, play with and love your animals like they are apart of my family, because while they are in my care, they are! I have the most experience with dogs and cats, however I've also cared for many other animals. From walking to administering medicine and everything in between, I have done a lot. Cleaning any accidents, litter boxes, or fur balls is not a problem for me. My schedule is very open right now as I'm only doing online classes. About my home My home is very spacious. Ranch style home. Open floor plan for good indoor play time! A few stairs down back porch to yard. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs since I was a kid. My family always had a couple dogs and a few cats growing up. Along with various fish, frogs, newts, snakes, hamsters, rabbits, chickens and ducks. For a long time my daily pet care has involved a 9 year old 170lb pitbull/ American bulldog who was a very “challenging” dog. He didn’t get along with nearly anyone or other dogs. Of course I still loved and adored him through all. For two years, I had a roommate who decided to get sugar gliders and didn’t realize they were such a handful. Of course I stepped up and helped nurture her babies. I’ve cared for so many animals just by word of mouth with friends, it would probably bore you. Now I’m taking it a little more seriously while I continue my online education and personal business. Even after my own business success, I’d love to keep any regular clients I’ve accumulated, regardless of money, because I grow to love any animal placed into my life. However, if your life expands to no longer need me, no hard feelings! I understand we all have a place to play in this wonderful life. Currently I wake up around 8am to feed my chickens and if I’m boarding an animal I take care of them them as well. Caretaker could have been my middle name. I work from home. This gives me plenty of time to be with your fur baby(s), whether in the garden or hanging out in the studio!

We loved that Trenda communicated really well and sent updates and pictures Our youngest pup is a rescue who is still adjusting to her new life and Trenda stopped by twice beforehand just to make sure the dogs would be familiar with her. She’s friendly with a calm easy way about her and our pets really liked her. We’re glad we found her!
Trenda watched our 13 and 6 year old dog for a week. Before our trip, she offered to let us tour her large property. Both dogs took to her immediately, including our 6 year old who often has a difficult time with new people. Throughout our trip, Trenda sent us cute photos and updates that gave us peace of mind that our dogs were being well cared for. We could tell they were happy and relaxed throughout the stay! We recommend Trenda and we plan on booking with her again :)
Trenda was incredible!! So communicative, and helpful, and sent me lots of updates during my trip. I know my dog was very well taken care of :)

I don't have any breed preferences. I've lived with a dog as small as a mini pomeranian and taken care of a teacup chihuahua. As well as cared for and lived with a couple huge dogs (160lb Pit-bull mix, grand mastiff, great dane etc)
A typical day
We have a huge field to roam and play! We also have great nature parks within minutes of my house for nice long strolls on the river. Your animal(s) will have my full attention and be worn out and full of love when you are reunited. I will walk, play with and love your animals like they are apart of my family, because while they are in my care, they are! Your dog's sleeping arrangement would be on one of the couple dog beds I have at home, in my room or in the living room. Or on their own dog bed if you choose to bring that as well! Time I'll spend with your dog Walks can be average from 15-45min. Depending on the dog etc. When pet sitting for you, I'm willing to spend a few hours a day with your dog(s)/animal(s). I would be willing to spend more if requested or less time as well! It is really your preference, seeing as it is your animal! Time I'll spend with your dog I can easily spend an hour petting and playing with any dog. Of course all dogs are different, so based on yours and your animals needs/preferences I will adjust accordingly! Extra house-sitting services I live by the rule of treating others how I would like to be treated. If your trash needs to be taken out, I will do it! I know there's nothing worse when coming home from a nice relaxing vacation then returning to a full stinky trash and realizing the house sitter ate all your food and left a mess!!(yes this has happened to me!) growing up with pet sitters in the family and having my own, I know how great it feels to come home to the house how I left it (plus if even a little cleaner!) and do simple things; like check the mail or water plants.
