We have owned pets for 20 years and have taken care of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We love our pets and will love yours as well! We can provide care like feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking, baths and more. In addition to our own pets and caring for pets of others we have also been volunteers at Petsmart in the catio, taking care of adoptable cats and kittens providing cleaning, food, water, play and plenty of love. Laurilee works on-call a couple of days per month as a RN. Travis works from home often throughout the week with a flexible schedule as a Consulting Forester. We have flexible availability for mornings after 10:30am and afternoons before 2:00 for walks and drop-ins about three days weekly, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. Evenings are a bit tight as we have our children's activities, however if you plan to be away for an extended period we can certainly accommodate evenings if multiple daily drop-ins is desired and we plan ahead. Just let us know! We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. We are happy to take care of additional tasks such as watering plants, checking the mail, taking garbage out on garbage day, etc. if you plan to be away for an extended period. Laurilee completed the American Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid training course and Travis watched as well. Laurilee's name is on the certificate. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number.
