I have experience in taking care of and loving animals from 8 weeks old to 15 years old. I have a pointer mix,14 yrs old, a black and white mix, 4 yes old and a spaniel mix, 1 yr old. All three are from the Bayou Animal Shelter. I love cats but my dogs do not and I prefer to not have an outside cat. My dogs are all inside. We play outside unless it’s raining or too hot. Then we play inside. I enjoy meeting all my friends pets and people that are walking their dogs when I’m outside. Anytime I see a loose dog I put my dogs inside and bring the lost dogs in my yard to find their owners. I will take them to vets in the area to check for chips. That has worked most times. Last time I brought 2 pit bulls in they were infested with fleas so I called Bayou Animal to come check chips. The animal shelter employee talked to the owner about their fleas. I hope they have been able to fix that for the dogs sake. I apologize for the long care experience. I am an animal lover!
