Pawsitively Professional Care

Pet care experience

**PLEASE NOTE: Due to schedule constraints, I am currently accepting new CAT clients ONLY! Please check back regularly to see when I reopen dog services. Thank you!** Woof woof! (That's how you say hello in dog!) My name is Tracy, a Camarillo local and lifelong animal lover! With just over 7 years of professional pet sitting experience, I am extremely passionate about providing the most quality, reliable, and loving care possible for your furry friend while you are away. Throughout my 5 years on the Rover platform, I have had the privilege of caring for numerous pets in Ventura County. I also volunteer locally with several rescue groups and dedicate my free time to helping animals in need. I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, horses and livestock. I have ample training working with special needs and/or senior animals. From medication administration to walks and everything in between, I strive to ensure that my love for animals shows through my impeccable attention to detail. They are not just pets, they are my best friends! —

Our dogs/kitty are just in loveeeeee with Tracy! 10/10, five stars lol you get the point! This is coming from someone with two German Shepherds and a 16 yr old cat who are all incredibly fickle with who they like! So, if you are looking for someone who is highly attentive to your pets and their needs. And will give your pets the love an attention they deserve. I highly recommend Tracy! :D

Looks like we can only review one time for each session of pet visits. So I am entering this newest one for JULY 2020 on an older visit Instead. I’m so awed that Tracy does various tasks about The household as well. Such as watering or getting mail. It’s great to know my plants won’t suffer or die. She is very careful about not letting doors build by watching the trash and litter. She also considers things I don’t even consider, like shutting the (usually open) door for fireworks day to prevent pet upset. During pandemic she took care to use gloves and a mask each visit so that she could prevent passing any virus onto pet fur or surfaces in the home She communicates SO WELL using the app for any question or concern. Always asking if her response is okay or if I want something different. I truly believe she likes my pet and enjoys her even though she is a calico and you know how they tend to be... cranky and unpredictably violent. She’s a watch dog for anything that could hurt my cat, removing things that she thinks may have fallen being blown by wind or anything that seems to be a hazard that I didn’t notice. She’s really the classic old fashioned type of customer service staff. She’s a gem, as a human not just as a service staff. I hope when I grow up I’m more like her! I’m 52 now.

Tracy stepped up like she always does when there is an issue. Ants were getting to the cat bowl. She researched and put the dish in bowl of water underneath so ants could not cross the body of water She’s just extra awesome like that

Safety, trust & environment

• The safety and comfort of your pets is the highest priority to me. My goal is to treat them as if they were my own, which means that I do my best to guarantee that they are following their routine as closely as possible. • Should your pet have behavioral quirks (i.e. reactive, barking, leash pulling, anxiety, health issues), please let me know so that I can anticipate these and alter my care approach accordingly! • For the pet parent, I am consistent about providing updates throughout the day for peace of mind. Communication is extremely important to me. I want to make sure that you have no worries about your pets when they are in my care!

Information Tracy M. would like to know about your pet

Before I look after your pet, I would like to set up a short Meet and Greet where we can introduce ourselves, tour the house, and go over their routine. Detailed notes are HIGHLY appreciated, with the following: dietary needs, behavior towards other dogs, play routines, hiding spots, training commands, preferred walk routes, medication instructions, and house notes (for overnight sittings). I love establishing a bond with the owner and pet before sitting—tell me everything about your furry friend so I can fully understand what it is you are looking for in a caretaker. For households with dogs: I do have experience with several different breeds, and am used to working with dogs that have varied temperaments. My only request is that your pet has basic training/obedience skills and good leash etiquette. Additional fees apply to puppies undergoing training/housebreaking.

Please check out the pricing chart found in the photos in my profile for more details! I am a full-time pet sitter, which means that I am typically working in several different households at one time. I will be sure to communicate this beforehand and we can work to find a schedule that is perfect for you and your pet! • For drop in visits, I spend between 30-60 mins in your home at a time depending on your pet's specific needs. This service includes: ⁃Feeding and cleaning food bowls, water replacement ⁃Walking (as needed) ⁃Playing (as needed) ⁃Picking up poop/scooping litter boxes ⁃Administering medication (as needed) • For house sitting, I spend my day/night at your home. While I might occasionally leave for periods throughout the sitting, I will spend the majority of my free time in your home as well as overnight. For an additional fee, I can also provide “constant care”, which means that I will not leave the house for longer then 1-2 hours at a time. This service includes: ⁃Feeding and cleaning food bowls, water replacement ⁃Multiple walks (as needed) ⁃Multiple play sessions (as needed) ⁃Picking up poop/scooping litter boxes ⁃Administering medication (as needed) ⁃Overnight care ⁃Household duties such as: Watering plants, getting the mail, and retrieving packages • For walking services, I will take your pet(s) on a 30-60 min. route depending on their individual needs. This includes a tracked potty break and picture update via Rover Card. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have about the services I offer! I will be happy to go in detail for you, or discuss further during a Meet and Greet.
