Pet care experience
My family and I have been pet-owners for my whole life; what a boring life without them around! I am a big snuggler so if your dog is a fan of some love and attention - or if they’d prefer to be left alone 🤣 - he/she will love it here ☺️. I lost my 13 year old lemon beagle named Olive last year (Jan ‘23) who I had since she was a puppy, you’ll see lots of pictures of her in my profile 🌈💔. She was my sidekick and partner in crime, everyone would comment on what a sweet and happy girl she was, and I miss her so, so much - I need other pups to love on while I recover from her loss! 💕 I have also fostered and volunteer with a local foster/adoption group every once in a while so I have experience in all sorts of situations. Can’t wait to welcome your furbaby!

This is a dogs house! I have an open home where they can sleep and play wherever they’d like with full access to my secure backyard through two doggie doors. I’m also happy to let them out myself if they’re not used to using doggie doors! The pups will have free rein over the house while I’m here but if I have to leave, I leave them in a crate provided by you in my den. Prior experience has shown me that many dogs don’t act the same way in new places as they would at home, haha, so I appreciate your cooperation with this! I can take up to two dogs from the same family. Because I work from home, I need to keep it to a reasonable amount of pups, despite me wanting to have a bunch of them around! :) Every once in a while I receive a request after I’ve already been booked with another family. In many cases, they are repeat clients whose dogs I already know that love playing with other pups but before I accept, I always ask the owner if it’s okay first. If your dog needs to be an only dog, please let me know via their profile and I won’t even bother asking!

Please let me know about any special needs or circumstances that would make your dogs stay a little easier on them. Would love to know if there’s anything they don’t like - avoiding ears, paw handling, being picked up, etc. Dogs should be crate trained, and be sure to pack their favorite treats, blankets, beds, anything that would make them feel more at home here!
A typical day
In addition to my backyard, there’s a park behind my house where they can get more of their energy out if they’re good off leash! Also, walks through my neighborhood or the nearby canal/park are common options.

I am a financial professional who works partly from home, but I am required to go into the office three days a week so please note that if you need someone to be around all day, every day. For now, my days and hours in the office are able to be flexible, meaning I’m able to work around your pups and don’t need to be in the office for a full day but I do try to be there around 4-6 hours. I love to get outside and take lunchtime and evening walks/hikes when it’s nice outside, would love to bring your pet along if that’s their thing ☺️.
