ABOUT ME After some time away... I am back in Lakeland :0) My story- I have been handling and training dogs for decades. It's my passion, my life! Training includes, therapy, confirmation, specialize in puppy wellness, puppy midwife, and my dogs have been cast in TV ads and movies! I also own a ragdoll cat whom we all adore!!! I have a triple clear back ground check for your reassurance! Rover , 'GoodHire' & CheckR (Thumbtack) I am a former business professional who is now partially retired which allows me to conduct overnight house/dog/cat sitting in your home. I had my own personal challenges during my career trying to find a house/dog sitter when I was away on business. This is where I can honestly say, I have been in your shoes when in search of a reliable, honest pet nanny or house sitter. I welcome as many instructions you wish to leave, I will follow them to your specifications. Also, sending you pictures of your pet via text is a nice reassurance to a good visit! *Contact me for a Meet and Greet prior to booking. OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING The hours of your overnight are based on your dog's / cat's needs usually 9pm to 7 am. Negotiable. I am a light sleeper, will get up as often through out the night if needed. DROP IN VISITS When you are in need of drop in visits, I will be sure your dog has the appropriate time for their *potty break, *check and change water bowls, *sit, *pet, *play and take time as needed to earn their trust. DOG WALKING If they (you) prefer dog walking, it would be in your own neighborhood, near a park, lake, etc.... I have handled very small dogs to 120 lb on leads, chokes, gentle leaders, and harness. Open to options always. SPECIALTY I am familiar with all pure bred dogs and mixed breeds. I have spent the last 20 years attending dog shows with The American Kennel Club. Training, handling and finishing several Champions. Also have trained and earned certifications of Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen. HEALTH KNOWLEDGE Tending to my own dogs/cats and birds as well as client dogs. I have vast knowledge in health issues. I've had the privilege of visiting the University of Cornell in NY, Animal Clinic Northview in Cleveland and all of my veterinarians know I take caring for my pets seriously. Sometimes standing in on my own pets surgeries, Xrays, blood draw, etc. RESCUE VOLUNTEER SINCE 2003 When volunteering for rescue, I have had many dogs with special needs mentally and physically, who successfully were adopted into great homes. I donate a portion of my Rover fee to a rescue. I love a happy ending......
