501c3 Rescue, animals are my life!

Pet care experience

I have been in RESCUE for several years, and founded and established my own non-profit 501c3. I specialize in rescuing senior and medical needs dogs from our local shelters; Carson (my home shelter), SEAACA and Downey to name a few. You can check me out on Facebook to see the work we have accomplished @SavingImperial. Animals are my life, and they are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I have a proven track record of rehabilitating dogs that were ready for euthanasia, and have outstanding references. there is nothing I will not do for animals, and they are my utmost priority in this world. I am a rescue so I also have a vast team of other rescues sisters/brothers and veterinary care/ resources at my disposal to help in the event of any emergency as well.

Traci is a very kind and caring person. She sent me a lot of photos so we could be sure everything was ok. Although Dulce has special needs, Traci was happy to take care of her. Thanks!

We are so grateful to have found Traci. She sent us pictures and videos all throughout our puppy’s stay with her. It gave us peace of mind to know our pup was so well cared for.

She was lovely!!! Thank you for the photos and updates. She also gave me a great recommendation for a local awuarium to go see nearby.

Traci watched our little Cookie for 4 days while we went on vacation; we felt totally assured Cookie was in excellent hands. Traci was highly communicative, had easy drop-off and pick-up, sent daily photos and updates. Cookie was a happy camper upon pick up. Traci has a cozy place and took great care of our senior dog. Would 100% use Traci again on our next trip.

I've got a secure back yard where we play... no dogs are ever left unattended. As mentioned above, I volunteer my free time at a local vet so have immediate access to get them the care needed in case of emergencies or even just for standard wellness care visits... I'm here to accommodate your needs.

Information Traci S. would like to know about your pet

I do not have a breed preference, even though my rescue is for the 'little ones'. I would have to have an in depth conversation with any dog guardian prior to accepting this very important role of caring for their fur kids. I would ask questions about their personality, age, health, history (where they came from), their likes and dislikes, their triggers (whether naughty or nice), their energy level, their diet, their sleeping preferences, the 'rules of the house'...and the list goes on. It is a case by case basis, but I would be sure to cover all the basic (and sometimes special) needs of the individual dog. Every pup is different, as are their habits and the expectations of their human parents. I would need to know as much as possible so I would be able to fulfill their needs.

A typical day

Personally, I am a fan of going for walks on the trails along the coast. It all depends on the dogs and their levels of activity and endurance. I also have sling pouches and front carriers to let the little ones enjoy the day while riding along in comfort...if they choose not to walk. I also have kiddie pools at the house for those that like the water, and I have a great bin of toys to play fetch on my front lawn.

I work from home so I've got high flexibility to accommodate your schedule so don't ever hesitate to ask for special needs. I can generally provide anything you need within reasonable means. I've also got a great relationship with a local vet where I volunteer so can help with vet visits or emergency visits while all animals are in my care.
