Pet Lover With Flexible Schedule
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Tracey and I am an Army Veteran. I live in the "Pooler/Savannah" area just off of Jimmy Deloach Blvd. I am available as early as 5am. I have taken care of dogs for most of my life. I currently have two adult dogs. I love taking care of my big babies and love meeting other dogs. I treat my dogs like they are family members, and would do the same for your fur babies. I would love to be able to care for you pets in their home environment and take them for walks as requested. I will show your dog lots of love and make sure they are safe while they are in my care. I have a flexible schedule and am also available most Weekends and during holidays. Thanks for reading! I am a small business owner and I work from home. My schedule is extremely flexible to accommodate a variety of different times, dates, and routines. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to run. Someone is usually always home and I try my best to always have eyes on your pet while they are in my home. I also do my best to maintain your pets normal routine in their home and do my best to leave your home undisturbed- like I was never there once the visit is over :)
Reviews
Tracey was super! She came by early in the morning to make sure my cat had food and clean litter, and that she had activities to do while we were away. Thank you for your help!
Tracey was awesome! I get so nervous leaving my three cats home alone while we are on vacation but she took my nerves away and I knew my cats would be in great hands. She sent pictures and updates for every visit! Definitely recommend her and will definitely be using her again for future visits!
Tracey is amazing!
Our experience was a horrible one. We met for about an hour 2 weeks prior to our trip at Tracy's request. I would have preferred one closer to the time we were leaving. My dogs did fine during the visit and she met everyone and we went over a few things related to care. I hadn't heard from Tracy within 24 hours of our departure, so I reached out and asked if she would want to meet us at the house to be there at our departure, she said no unless i wanted and asked that I just text her care/security access information. I received a phone call from her about 7 hours later with my dog barking erratically in the background. Surprise, he didn't remember Tracy from 2 weeks earlier and was upset that a stranger was in our home while we were away! I was on a cruise ship at this point! I gave her a few pointers to help put him at ease, none worked! He was in alert mode protecting our home, my female dog, and their puppies! I suggested she try to approach him later during the next visit. That visit went about the same. After not being let out for about 26 hours, whining, howling, whimpering, pawing at the cage, pacing back and forth, shaking, he finally broke out of his cage and relieved himself multiple times in the house. I messaged her immediately when I saw on the camera he was out. Tracy decided that after showing self preservation and finding a way out his cage, she was not willing to care for our pets anymore, on Christmas Eve of all days! All this as we were sailing out of the country with limited connectivity access. Rover determined it was up to her and while they offered to assist, no assistance was provided. I offered to have the person Loki is more familiar with and in the home with now reintroduce her to him, she said no. I suggested having him take Loki outside thru the screened patio and into the back yard while she tended to my female and the puppies, she said no! She and her husband no longer felt it was safe for her to be around Loki despite spending an entire hour with him at our home 16 days earlier with no issues or signs of aggression! I now needed to find care for 7 dogs(2 adults and 5 puppies) on a cruise ship with limited connectivity! My boss kindly purchased a new cage and came by to put it together and had no problems entering the house and asserting dominance. I believe it was Tracy's decision to not meet at the home when we departed as well as her energy when she entered that ultimately set my dog off. I've never seen him act that way and my boss didn't have any issue! He's met Loki once 5 months ago for about 10 minutes with 3 other people. Finding a new sitter took an entire day away from my vacation not to mention the money for last minute arrangements and communicating outside of my service plan! Rover is only refunding me for the visits not fulfilled which is ridiculous!
