We are a family who adore dogs, cats, horses and small fluffy pets. Don't ask us to care for your reptiles! We have our own rescued pets, including a whippet, 2 Labradors, 6 hens, a Shetland pony, fish and 3 cats. We can look after your small caged animals too. Any pet will be cared for and treated as our own and will be spoilt rotten, so that he/she doesn't miss you too much - though we will stick to your diet routine. Your dog will be with us at all times in our home & out on walks. It will be entertained, cuddled & played with. We will do everything to reduce the stress of your pet being away from you. We will use your vet or ours. We can administer medication. We live in a cottage not far away from Laughton woods and the river Trent, where we walk our dogs. I have cared for animals for over 40 years & have worked in dog & cat rescue, so have lots of experience. I rode horses up until having children 14 years ago. Both my twins are experienced in animal care & join me on walks & in play with the animals. Our own pets are very friendly, fully vaccinated & de-wormed/flead regularly. We would prefer to animal sit only during school holidays & weekends, but feel free to make contact to check our availability at anytime in case we can squeeze you in. I assess all dogs before agreeing to take them into my home....none have been refused yet! We prefer only neutered, house trained dogs please. No aggressive breeds.
