I have always had a love for Dogs, at age 2 I would "train" our German Shepard Missy, I would have her sit, stay, help feed her, bathe her. Forget the dolls and toys, I had a Dog! I started pet sitting & dog walking at age 10, over 40 years ago. I wanted new roller skates and had to work for it. I started with our neighbor across the street , she had 2 dogs and worked from home. That is where it all started. Soon word got out and I was the neighborhood pet sitter. Over the years I have learned allot about Dogs and how they are individuals just like us. Each pet has their own personality, quirks and temperaments. I adapt to their specific needs and wants. If they want cuddles we cuddle, if they like their space I give them space. It's all about the pets needs and each day can be different. They are "the star of the show" and treated as such. I am flexible and can provide last minute visits for potty breaks when your stuck at work or get called away . I know getting exercise and a walk daily is very important for health and mental stimulation, keeping your dog healthy and safe is more important. The age and breed of each dog is different. If you have a braxyphaelic breed - bulldog, pug, shitz zu , mastiff etc or an older dog their tolerance is lower than other breeds. Extreme weather hot to cold and raining, visits and walk times will be adjusted to keep your fur kids safe happy and healthy. Earlier walks or a creative stay at home play time , waterless baths and brush outs. Weather is monitored weekly, daily and adjustments made and communicated.
