Pet care experience
Dogs have always been part of my life and my family. I am retired now, so my schedule is very flexible. My husband and I lead an active lifestyle and will make sure your dog is taken care of like family. We have a large backyard with access from a doggy door. We will keep you posted with photos and feedback on a daily basis. We have raised all breeds over our years as dog owners and have been blessed with wonderful senior rescues. Since my husband and I are both retired we are very flexible in our schedules and should be able to accommodate any timeframe that is needed. Our backyard is spacious and fenced in. There is access through a doggy door if that is negotiable for your dog. It can also be blocked if if required. We are very close to a beautiful park, which is wonderful for some nice long walks. We recently lost our 10 year old bull terrier to cancer and so our house feels empty without our beloved Walter. We will make sure your furry friend feels like family.

This was my dog's first time staying at another person's house. Tove and Gerald went above and beyond to ease his anxiety and make him feel as comfortable as possible. Their home has the ideal set up with a fenced-in yard and a doggie door.
Tove and Gerry went out of their way to make Layla comfortable in their home. They were attentive to her needs and took time to figure out what made her happiest. We appreciated their communication throughout her stay.
Our 1.5 year old goldendoodle had a great time with Tove and Gerry! They are a warm and welcoming couple, and their home and yard are very dog friendly. Our dog enjoyed a good mix of activity and comfortable rest, and we received great communication and photos. I would definitely schedule another stay and recommend them to others. We had complete confidence.

A typical day
I love going for long walks in our many metro parks and can happily take your dog to their favorite sniffing and stomping grounds. If they prefer just playing in the backyard i can easily accommodate that also.
