Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Tova and I LOVE animals! I work full time as a conservation biologist and have a long history of working with fish and other ocean creatures professionally, and taking care of household pets outside of work. I worked at an aquarium caring for sharks, seahorses, fish, and cephalopods for 3 years before working more directly on ocean conservation initiatives and policy. I grew up with several pets of my own, and have been professionally pet sitting for the past 3 years. I particularly love dogs and cats, but I also have experience with taking care of chickens, ducks, rabbits, reptiles, and even pigs! I also pride myself in having a green thumb and would be happy to take care of your houseplants and garden while you’re away.

Tova took such good care of our elderly dog! We were nervous about leaving him after a big move and she made us feel so much better with all of her updated and pictures!
Tova was a fantastic sitter for our pups Hamilton & Skylar. Our dogs instantly felt comfortable around her and she was tuned into their wants/needs throughout the day. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos and we could rest assured our dogs were having a great time with her! We will definitely have her back!
Tova cared for our cat, Ruth, as if she were her own. We felt so good knowing she was in such caring hands while away!
Tova has watched my dog several times at my house. She is my first choice as a dog and house sitter if she is available! Tova genuinely loves dogs and animals and has taken great care of Obi, including giving him medication daily and lots of snuggles on the couch. Also Obi loves her and knows her name - I think Tova is Obi’s favorite dogsitter too :)

Because I work from home, your pets will receive a lot of love and attention from me! I will happily maintain whatever routine they usually have and will be sure to provide a lot of play and affection.

Availability
I work remotely, so I am able to give your pets the love and attention they deserve while you are away. I occasionally go in to my office, but would discuss the schedule for that well in advance of your trip and can be flexible depending on your pets' needs so you can feel comfortable knowing how long your pets may be in the house by themselves.
