I’ve care for animals essentially my entire life. I owned dogs from a young age and took part in training 3 of them. I also cared for friends and family’s pets when they would travel. Once I moved into undergrad, I began dog sitting- I visited with 2 French bulldogs three days a week (occasionally overnight) for about 3 years. One of these dogs had health issues so I was responsible for providing her medication. I then dogsat off and on for other families around this time as well. Once I graduated undergrad, I took in a foster puppy. I had her from the age of 8 weeks until she was 11 months. She required surgery on all four legs, so I was responsible for her strict medication schedule, taking her to and from physical therapy, doing rehab exercises at home, all on top of the normal puppy training and socialization. She has since found her forever home, and I am so proud of her. Currently, I am a graduate student that owns two cats who are my furry angels and I love more than anything! I can’t wait to meet your best friend as well!
